The Senate Agrees to Give Back $6 Million Dollars to the University of Wyoming Athletics Fund.

CHEYENNE, Wyo.-- $6 million dollars will be returned to the University of Wyoming’s athletic department, leading to the only significant change in the Joint Appropriation Committee (JAC) bill to cut spending from the University of Wyoming. 

The $6 million dollars returned to the University of Wyoming’s athletics department seems to be the only win that will happen for the university.

The rest of the JAC budget cuts will be in effect, including the loss of $40 million dollars from the school's budget. Including the loss of funding for Wyoming Public Media on campus.
